Four new species of the subgenus Nanoplebeia Engel (genus Plebeia Schwarz) are described and figured as: (Nanoplebeia) pleres Engel, species, from Venezuela; P. (N.) asthenes Bolivia; orphne Ecuador Peru; chondra Ecuador. A key is presented to subgenus.
